Bill Zenko
A Coventry resident since 1977, Bill has served in elected position on the Board of Assessment Appeals, the Town Council, and the Zoning Board of Appeals (on which he currently serves). In addition, Bill has served on multiple Town Commissions and adhoc Town committees.

Bob Danehy
A 1980 graduate of Coventry High School, Bob Danehy brings more than 30 years of national experience in real estate valuation, compliance, and land use analysis. After spending time building his career in Michigan, Texas, Missouri, and Utah, Bob returned to Connecticut with a deep appreciation for his hometown and a commitment to public service. As the Chief Appraiser and Director of Compliance for EVP, Bob ensures regulatory alignment with federal lending guidelines and zoning standards. His role involves evaluating land use decisions, assessing property risk, and helping stakeholders navigate complex real estate and development challenges. Bob’s technical expertise, combined with his practical understanding of zoning impacts and his collaborative leadership style, make him a strong asset to the Coventry Zoning Board of Appeals. He is committed to thoughtful decision-making that respects the town’s character while supporting fair and responsible development.

Caroline Dowd
Caroline and her husband Matt have lived in Coventry since 2013 and are proud new parents of a little boy. As both President of the Pine Lake Community Club neighborhood association on Eagleville Pond and as a teacher, Caroline understands the value that comes with clear communication and transparency in decision making. Caroline first ran for office in 2023 and was elected to the Zoning Board of Appeals. She been happily working with her ZBA colleagues to help Coventry citizens improve their homes and properties over the past two years. Caroline is a graduate of both Lake Forest College and Tufts University, and is currently a preschool teacher in Hartford Public Schools. She and her husband love taking advantage of Coventry’s natural resources, from fishing, paddling, and skating the lakes, to hiking the forest preserves with their two dogs.

Suzanne Haviland
Suzanne is honored to have the opportunity to give back to our town as a candidate for Zoning Board of Appeals. She has been a resident of Coventry for 20 years, and lives with her husband and two children in the lake zone. Suzanne will have a thoughtful and collaborative approach to zoning, land-use, and sustainable development. She understands the issues that our residents and businesses face as we seek to improve and add value to our properties and tax base while maintaining our town’s character and assets. She herself has been through the zoning appeal process. Suzanne will support more housing opportunities for our seniors and other residents. She has had a career in public service in Connecticut and nationally as a policy analyst, advocate, negotiator, and organizer for workers, seniors and families. Suzanne comes from a family of small business owners. She has been the director of nonprofits focused on state health and budget policy, and food security. She has served on state boards and commissions, as the chair of a main street economic development committee and helped found the Hartford Preservation Alliance. She works for the CT Education Association and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government

Barbara Riordan
I have lived in Coventry for 33 years, and served on the Town Council 2003-2005. I was elected Probate Judge in 2014 and served in that position from 2014-March 2025. Prior to that, I had my own law practice from 1997-2019. I am a graduate of Rutgers University and New England Law. My husband Bill and I have 3 grown children.

Carolyn Arabolos
She recently retired after leading Operations for many years. She and her husband, Greg, a retired Hartford firefighter, have lived in Coventry for almost 20 years. As a member of the Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA) for the past year, she was proud to be part of the assessment appeals process in a challenging property revaluation year. She plans to use those lessons learned to continue to serve Coventry on the BAA.

Jill Wood Reviczky
Jill has lived in Coventry for 18 years with her husband Steve. She owned her own small business for many years and is now working part time, while being retired part time. Jill has served Coventry while sitting on the Board of Assessment Appeals and has moderated many of our local elections. She believes that volunteering and giving back is an important part of living in any community.

Lisa Conant
As a Coventry resident for more than 31 years, Lisa previously served two terms on the Coventry Town Council (2017-2021), including one term as vice chairwoman. She currently chairs the town’s Human Rights Commission. Her public sector experience also includes working as a grants administrator for eight years at the Town of Manchester and the Manchester Board of Education.
Lisa has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. Currently, she works at UConn as a Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist for the Vice President for Research. She will bring a deep understanding of policy and regulatory frameworks as an Alternate to the Zoning Board of Appeals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the Coventry Farmers Market, the library, and at local events with her husband. -
Lorraine Funk
Lorraine moved to Coventry in 1986 after meeting her husband, Benjamin. They have raised three daughters and enjoyed the quality of life that Coventry offers. As Lorraine winds down a long career of working with Seniors as a resident advocate, helping seniors navigate senior living options, she looks to the future to become more involved with community involvement.
